  • Day 6 Wednesday July 24

    Starting at:

Lectures dedicated to the local history “Behind the List” 75th Commemorative Program The talks explore aspects of life behind the infamous deportation list of the Jewish inhabitants of Rhodes. One of the key aims of this commemorative program is to enable members of the Diaspora to piece together the material fragments and family stories that make up the memories of the dead and how this connects to contemporary identity. Each workshop is approximately 1.15 hours duration. We envisage each presenter to speak for around 30 minutes maximum, thus allowing time for participants to discuss/question aspects of each presentation. Our aim throughout the program is to serve some usefulness to the diasporic community in its search for the life of the Community and families before and during the Deportation.
